Historically, households' assets in life insurance in Austria reached an all time high of USD 102 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 28.0 bil in 1995. When compared to Austria's main peers, households' assets in life insurance in Germany amounted to USD 1,380 bil, USD 7.82 bil in Hungary, USD 1,130 bil in Italy and USD 122 bil in Switzerland in 2021.
