Historically, households' assets in life insurance in Belgium reached an all time high of USD 250 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 34.9 bil in 1998. When compared to Belgium's main peers, households' assets in life insurance in France amounted to USD 2,638 bil, USD 1,380 bil in Germany, USD 13.9 bil in Luxembourg and USD 221 bil in Netherlands in 2021.
