Historically, households' assets in life insurance in Switzerland reached an all time high of USD 124 bil in 2020 and an all time low of USD 50.8 bil in 2000. When compared to Switzerland's main peers, households' assets in life insurance in Austria amounted to USD 93.7 bil, USD 2,638 bil in France, USD 1,380 bil in Germany and USD 1,130 bil in Italy in 2021.
