 
				Hard coal production rose 22.3% to 1,184 kt in Tajikistan in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, hard coal production in Tajikistan reached an all time high of 1,184 kt in 2015 and an all time low of 18.7 kt in 1997. When compared to Tajikistan's main peers, hard coal production in Afghanistan amounted to 1,504 kt, 3,404,024 kt in China, 251 kt in Kyrgyzstan and 454 kt in Uzbekistan in 2015.
