Hard coal production fell 19.1% to 163 kt in Iran in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, hard coal production in Iran reached an all time high of 1,835 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 115 kt in 2013.
Iran has been ranked 45th within the group of 55 countries we follow in terms of hard coal production, 15 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
