Historically, hard coal production as a share of worldwide production in Afghanistan reached an all time high of < 0.001% in 2014 and an all time low of < 0.001% in 2000.

Afghanistan has been ranked 33rd within the group of 60 countries we follow in terms of hard coal production as a share of worldwide production, 18 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
