Gypsum and plaster production fell 7.06% to 90.9 kt in Cuba in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, gypsum and plaster production in Cuba reached an all time high of 134 kt in 1998 and an all time low of 72.5 kt in 2006. When compared to Cuba's main peers, gypsum and plaster production in Dominican Republic amounted to 244 kt, 42.9 kt in Jamaica, 7,100 kt in Mexico and 11,500 kt in USA in 2015.
