Historically, gross school enrollment of females in tertiary education in Nepal reached an all time high of 15.4% in 2013 and an all time low of 0.597% in 1976. When compared to Nepal's main peers, gross school enrollment of females in tertiary education in Bangladesh amounted to 19.8%, 17.0% in Bhutan, 63.9% in China and 31.3% in India in 2020.
Nepal has been ranked 45th within the group of 56 countries we follow in terms of gross school enrollment of females in tertiary education, 55 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
