Historically, goods exports as a part of the balance of payment in Brunei reached an all time high of USD 14.1 bil in 2022 and an all time low of USD 3.64 bil in 2001. When compared to Brunei's main peers, goods exports as a part of the balance of payment in Indonesia amounted to USD 262 bil, USD 248 bil in Malaysia, USD 55.0 bil in Philippines and USD 406 bil in Vietnam in 2024.
