Historically, GNI in local currency terms in East Timor reached an all time high of USD 4.58 bil in 2011 and an all time low of USD 0.258 bil in 1990. When compared to East Timor's main peers, GNI in local currency terms in Australia amounted to AUD 2,583 bil, IDR 21,554,525 bil in Indonesia, MYR 1,870 bil in Malaysia and PGK 117 bil in Papua New Guinea in 2024.
