Historically, geothermal, biomass and other consumption in Indonesia reached an all time high of 11,195 GWh in 2016 and an all time low of 1,053 GWh in 1991. When compared to Indonesia's main peers, geothermal, biomass and other consumption in Australia amounted to 3,352 GWh, 1,161 GWh in Malaysia, 11,709 GWh in Philippines and 917 GWh in Singapore in 2016.
