Historically, geothermal, biomass and other consumption in the USA reached an all time high of 85,208 GWh in 2014 and an all time low of 345 GWh in 1965. When compared to USA's main peers, geothermal, biomass and other consumption in Canada amounted to 10,253 GWh, 73,407 GWh in China, 26,583 GWh in Japan and 7,213 GWh in Mexico in 2016.
