Fruit consumption per capita rose 16.8% to 40.7 kg in Vietnam in 2017, according to Faostat.

Historically, fruit consumption per capita in Vietnam reached an all time high of 40.7 kg in 2017 and an all time low of 16.4 kg in 1976. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, fruit consumption per capita in Cambodia amounted to 8.12 kg, 39.5 kg in China, 8.89 kg in Laos and 59.2 kg in Thailand in 2017.
