Fruit consumption per capita rose 11.2% to 36.0 kg in Turkey in 2017, according to Faostat.

Historically, fruit consumption per capita in Turkey reached an all time high of 36.0 kg in 2017 and an all time low of 16.1 kg in 1966. When compared to Turkey's main peers, fruit consumption per capita in Bulgaria amounted to 26.1 kg, 41.1 kg in Greece, 16.9 kg in Iraq and 34.5 kg in Iran in 2017.
