Historically, foreign exchange reserves including gold in Iceland reached an all time high of USD 8,548 bil in 2011 and an all time low of USD 12.3 bil in 1960. When compared to Iceland's main peers, foreign exchange reserves including gold in Denmark amounted to USD 108,405 bil, USD 81,242 bil in Norway, USD 62,569 bil in Sweden and USD 174,598 bil in United Kingdom in 2024.
