Historically, foreign debt in Ghana reached an all time high of USD 43,805 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 542 bil in 1971. When compared to Ghana's main peers, foreign debt in Benin amounted to USD 12,483 bil, USD 36,548 bil in Ivory Coast and USD 3,375 bil in Togo in 2023.
