Historically, foreign debt in Kosovo reached an all time high of USD 4,242 bil in 2023 and an all time low of USD 69.6 bil in 2001. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, foreign debt in Albania amounted to USD 11,364 bil, USD 12,614 bil in Macedonia, USD 8,616 bil in Montenegro and USD 49,000 bil in Serbia in 2023.
