Historically, foreign debt in Gambia reached an all time high of USD 1,325 bil in 2023 and an all time low of USD 5.08 bil in 1970. When compared to Gambia's main peers, foreign debt in Guinea Bissau amounted to USD 1,128 bil, USD 6,457 bil in Mali, USD 4,604 bil in Mauritania and USD 39,950 bil in Senegal in 2023.
