Feldspar Production rose 0% to 100 kt in Japan in 2015

Feldspar production rose 0% to 100 kt in Japan in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, feldspar production in Japan reached an all time high of 1,333 kt in 2001 and an all time low of 48.7 kt in 1973. When compared to Japan's main peers, feldspar production in China amounted to 2,500 kt, 160 kt in Russia, 601 kt in South Korea and 510 kt in USA in 2015.

Japan has been ranked 26th within the group of 52 countries we follow in terms of feldspar production, 21 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
