Historically, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in Costa Rica reached an all time high of USD 16.1 bil in 2024 and an all time low of USD 0.130 bil in 1977. When compared to Costa Rica's main peers, exports of services as a part of balance of payment in Guatemala amounted to USD 4.67 bil, USD 3.68 bil in Honduras, USD 1.30 bil in Nicaragua and USD 18.3 bil in Panama in 2024.
