Exports of goods and services rose 21.1% to BIF 480 bil in Burundi in 2023, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, exports of goods and services in Burundi reached an all time high of BIF 480 bil in 2023 and an all time low of BIF 0.875 bil in 1963. When compared to Burundi's main peers, exports of goods and services in Rwanda amounted to RWF 4,158 bil, TNS 32,385 bil in Tanzania, UGX 21,232 bil in Uganda and CDF 71,791 bil in Dem. Republic of the Congo in 2023.
