Historically, exports of goods and services in Austria reached an all time high of EUR 281 bil in 2023 and an all time low of EUR 2.90 bil in 1960. When compared to Austria's main peers, exports of goods and services in Germany amounted to EUR 1,813 bil, HUF 60,862 bil in Hungary, EUR 718 bil in Italy and CHF 595 bil in Switzerland in 2024.
Austria has been ranked 90th within the group of 130 countries we follow in terms of exports of goods and services, 14 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
