Historically, energy use in kg of oil equivalent per usd 1,000 of GDP measured by constatnt 2011 PPP prices in Slovakia reached an all time high of 245 kg in 1992 and an all time low of 79.9 kg in 2022. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, energy use in kg of oil equivalent per usd 1,000 of GDP measured by constatnt 2011 PPP prices in Austria amounted to 51.6 kg, 74.2 kg in Czechia, 61.8 kg in Hungary and 60.8 kg in Poland in 2023.
