Historically, energy dependence in petroleum products in Hungary reached an all time high of 93.2% in 2015 and an all time low of 71.5% in 2001. When compared to Hungary's main peers, energy dependence in petroleum products in Austria amounted to 92.0%, 97.2% in Czech Republic, 92.8% in Poland and 91.8% in Slovakia in 2016.
