Historically, eggplant production in Kuwait reached an all time high of 39.4 kt in 2019 and an all time low of 0.032 kt in 1975. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, eggplant production in Bahrain amounted to 1.63 kt, 183 kt in Iraq, 596 kt in Iran and 119 kt in Saudi Arabia in 2022.
