Historically, dwellings completed per 1,000 people in Iceland reached an all time high of 11.0 dwellings in 2020 and an all time low of 1.76 dwellings in 2011. When compared to Iceland's main peers, dwellings completed per 1,000 people in Denmark amounted to 6.27 dwellings, 5.50 dwellings in Norway, 5.13 dwellings in Sweden and 2.30 dwellings in United Kingdom in 2020.
