Historically, dwellings completed per 1,000 people in Slovakia reached an all time high of 4.03 dwellings in 2020 and an all time low of 1.15 dwellings in 1995. When compared to Slovakia's main peers, dwellings completed per 1,000 people in Austria amounted to 7.44 dwellings, 3.24 dwellings in Czechia, 2.09 dwellings in Hungary and 6.33 dwellings in Poland in 2021.
Slovakia has been ranked 16th within the group of 28 countries we follow in terms of dwellings completed per 1,000 people, 14 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
