Currant production rose 87.5% to 300 tonnes in Estonia in 2022, according to Faostat.

Historically, currant production in Estonia reached an all time high of 3,411 tonnes in 2002 and an all time low of 90.0 tonnes in 2019. When compared to Estonia's main peers, currant production in Finland amounted to 2,040 tonnes, 1,130 tonnes in Latvia, 5,060 tonnes in Lithuania and 509,500 tonnes in Russia in 2022.
