Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Lithuania reached an all time high of 22.5 births in 1960 and an all time low of 7.20 births in 2023. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Belarus amounted to 7.81 births, 8.21 births in Estonia, 8.50 births in Latvia and 8.40 births in Russia in 2024.
