Crude birth rate per 1,000 people fell 2.17% to 26.9 births in Zimbabwe in 2022, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 47.3 births in 1975 and an all time low of 26.9 births in 2022. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Botswana amounted to 19.6 births, 35.1 births in Mozambique, 16.9 births in South Africa and 39.4 births in Zambia in 2022.
