Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Thailand reached an all time high of 43.8 births in 1960 and an all time low of 6.57 births in 2024. When compared to Thailand's main peers, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Cambodia amounted to 19.7 births, 20.8 births in Laos, 13.6 births in Malaysia and 12.4 births in Myanmar in 2024.
Thailand has been ranked 168th within the group of 174 countries we follow in terms of crude birth rate per 1,000 people, 26 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
