Crude birth rate per 1,000 people fell 1.69% to 12.1 births in Kosovo in 2023, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Kosovo reached an all time high of 43.0 births in 1960 and an all time low of 12.1 births in 2023. When compared to Kosovo's main peers, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Albania amounted to 10.2 births, 9.20 births in Macedonia, 11.2 births in Montenegro and 9.20 births in Serbia in 2023.
