Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Zimbabwe reached an all time high of 47.5 births in 1960 and an all time low of 25.6 births in 2024. When compared to Zimbabwe's main peers, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Botswana amounted to 18.7 births, 34.1 births in Mozambique, 16.1 births in South Africa and 38.5 births in Zambia in 2024.
