Historically, coated papers production in Germany reached an all time high of 4,978,000 kt in 2005 and an all time low of 3,043,000 kt in 2018. When compared to Germany's main peers, coated papers production in Austria amounted to 1,150,649 kt, 1,028,000 kt in Belgium, 671,889 kt in France and 33,000 kt in Poland in 2018.
