Coal consumption as a share of worldwide consumption rose 62.3% to < 0.001% in Cuba in 2015, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, coal consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Cuba reached an all time high of < 0.001% in 1989 and an all time low of < 0.001% in 2014. When compared to Cuba's main peers, coal consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Dominican Republic amounted to < 0.001%, < 0.001% in Jamaica, 0.003% in Mexico and 0.094% in USA in 2015.
