Historically, coal consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Ukraine reached an all time high of 0.027% in 1992 and an all time low of 0.005% in 2015. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, coal consumption as a share of worldwide consumption in Poland amounted to 0.017%, 0.003% in Romania and 0.027% in Russia in 2015.
