Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 3.77% in 4Q2008 and an all time low of 1.65% in 2Q2020. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 1.98%.
Average asset yield was 4.25% in 1Q2025, down from 5.76% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 2.46% in 1Q2025, down from 4.06%.
When compared to bank's main peers, CSOB operated in the first quarter of 2025 with a net interest margin of 1.52% and Komercni Banka reached 1.64%.
