Czech banking sector accepted retail deposits of CZK 3,651 bil in 2023, up 7.50% when compared to the last year.
Ceska Sporitelna accounted for 26.8% of all retail deposits taken by banks in Czechia at the end of 2023. Historically, the bank’s market share in retail deposits reached an all time high of 38.8% in 2007 and an all time low of 26.0% in 2019.
That's compared to a 18.2% market share the bank held in terms of total assets at the end of 2023.
