Historically, cereal production in Cyprus reached an all time high of 230 kt in 1965 and an all time low of 6.34 kt in 2008. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, cereal production in Egypt amounted to 22,668 kt, 4,486 kt in Greece, 314 kt in Israel and 36,449 kt in Turkey in 2015.
