Historically, cereal production in Slovenia reached an all time high of 614 kt in 2002 and an all time low of 369 kt in 1992. When compared to Slovenia's main peers, cereal production in Austria amounted to 4,933 kt, 3,064 kt in Croatia, 12,734 kt in Hungary and 18,323 kt in Italy in 2015.
