BNP Paribas's capital adequacy ratio reached 15.0% at the end of 2018, up from 14.8% compared to the previous year. Historically, the bank’s capital ratio hit an all time high of 15.5% in 2012 and an all time low of 8.70% in 1992.
The Tier 1 ratio amounted to 13.1% at the end of 2018, down from 13.2% compared to a year earlier.
Bank's loan to deposit ratio reached 97.5% at the end of 2018, down from 97.7% when compared to the previous year. Some 10 years ago, loan to deposit ratio of the bank amounted to 123%.
