Historically, bleached sulphate pulp production in China reached an all time high of 7,675,000 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 326 kt in 1996. When compared to China's main peers, bleached sulphate pulp production in India amounted to 2,210,000 kt, 7,070,000 kt in Japan, 1,700,000 kt in Russia and 21,248,038 kt in USA in 2018.
