Bank pre-tax ROE rose 88.2% to 26.7% in Lithuania in 2023, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, bank pre-tax ROE in Lithuania reached an all time high of 27.6% in 2007 and an all time low of -50.8% in 2009. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, bank pre-tax ROE in Belarus amounted to 19.3%, 21.4% in Estonia, 21.0% in Latvia and 25.9% in Russia in 2023.
