Bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities rose 3.14% yoy to 42.9% in Australia in 1Q2025, according to the National Central Bank. This is 1.67% less than in the previous quarter.

Historically, bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities in Australia reached an all time high of 43.6% in 4Q2024 and an all time low of 22.5% in 4Q2005.
