Bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities fell 30.8% to 63.7% in Gambia in 2022, according to the National Central Bank.

Historically, bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities in Gambia reached an all time high of 101% in 2016 and an all time low of 62.1% in 2009.

Gambia has been ranked 40th within the group of 117 countries we follow in terms of bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities, 9 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
