 
				Bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities fell 12.1% to 45.3% in Lithuania in 2023, according to the National Central Bank.
Historically, bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities in Lithuania reached an all time high of 51.6% in 2022 and an all time low of 22.5% in 2016. When compared to Lithuania's main peers, bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities in Belarus amounted to 158%, 29.7% in Estonia, 42.5% in Latvia and 115% in Russia in 2023.
