Historically, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Iceland reached an all time high of 20.5% in 2015 and an all time low of 13.3% in 2024. When compared to Iceland's main peers, bank equity as a share of bank assets in Denmark amounted to 4.56%, 7.76% in Norway, 6.02% in Sweden and 5.97% in United Kingdom in 2024.
