Historically, balance of trade in goods and services in Bhutan reached an all time high of BTN -0.257 bil in 1980 and an all time low of BTN -78.8 bil in 2022. When compared to Bhutan's main peers, balance of trade in goods and services in Bangladesh amounted to BDT -2,097 bil, CNY 2,718 bil in China, INR -6,312 bil in India and NPR -1,479 bil in Nepal in 2023.
