Historically, apricot production in Spain reached an all time high of 220 kt in 1978 and an all time low of 65.5 kt in 1977. When compared to Spain's main peers, apricot production in France amounted to 128 kt, 230 kt in Italy, 68.0 kt in Morocco and 4.01 kt in Portugal in 2022.
