Historically, apricot production in Romania reached an all time high of 81.2 kt in 1969 and an all time low of 15.3 kt in 1995. When compared to Romania's main peers, apricot production in Bulgaria amounted to 19.0 kt, 24.1 kt in Hungary, 11.8 kt in Moldova and 49.7 kt in Ukraine in 2022.
